Have any of you Red Sox fans noticed that Travis Shaw, who the Red Sox traded to the Brewers for Tyler Thornburg, is hitting .256 with 5 homers and 18 RBI’s in his first 23 games? Oh and by the way, if you haven’t noticed, Thornburg hasn’t been seen playing for Boston yet as he’s on the disabled list. Pablo Sandoval, the reason the Sox could afford to let Shaw go, is also on the disabled list after playing 17 games and hitting .213 with 3 homers and 10 RBI’s. With all those ex-Red Sox in this weekend playing for the World Champion Cubs, it’s probably not the best time to think about bad trades.
